"Fortellinger om migrasjon" (Narratives about migration) consists of four parts. The first part presents a discussion of concepts, an overview of current research in the field, and societal and cultural aspects of the language areas in question. After this follows three geographically oriented parts that present central authorships from these respective language areas, among others the readers meet Pedro Carmona-Alvarez, Fatima Daas, Jenny Erpenbeck, Jonas Hassen Khemeri, Zeshan Shakar, Gulraiz Sharif, Saša Stanišić and Simon Stranger.
