Bakgrunn

Jens-Patrick Langstrand fullførte sin master grad i anvendt informatikk fra Høgskolen i Østfold i 2016. Han har jobbet som forsker på Institutt for Energiteknikk siden. Hans forsknings interesse har vært på bruk av anvendt maskinlæring for Human Factors forskning. Han startet doktorgradstudiet i 2020 på temaet «sansing, kontroll og testing i ett advarsels system for glatte veiforhold. Målet er å forbedre veigreps estimering ved hjelp av fysisk modellering og sensor fusion. Prosjektet er en del av CRItical SPeed function and Automatic speed control function ahead of a dangerous road section (CRiSp) prosjektet.
