has knowledge about different welfare systems with emphasis on the Nordic model

has knowledge about division of responsibility and labour in welfare provision, including the roles of voluntary and commercial agencies

can acquire updated knowledge relating to current debates on the development of the welfare state

can identify, evaluate and reference relevant literature on challenges relating to welfare policy, and relate this to a relevant research question

Eksamen
Individual written home exam over 8 days (192 hours)

It is optional whether the thesis is written in Norwegian or English

All aids are allowed, but it is not permitted to communicate with others about the question paper, or to work on an answer together
