My academic interests are mainly within the English classroom and English didactics. I a take interest in the interaction and development between teacher practices and theory.

I am the corse co-ordinator for English 2, 1-7 and English 2, 5-10 within the national staregy for contiuning education in Norway.

Background
I have many years of school experience. I worked in the Primary and Lower Secondary Education for adults in Sarpsborg since the early 2000's and continued on to Upper Secondary Education and Østfold Universiity College in 2007. I have worked full time at the University College since 2015.

Digital Skills as a Resource in the English Classroom
Basic rather than Advanced use of Digital skills in seven lower secondary classrooms in Norway over time
My PhD project is part of LISE which is a cross-curricular video-project with focus on naturally occuring teaching in different subjects. I look into dogotal classrooms at 7,5 and 1different schools across 8 years. I observe the different skills and the levels which the students show through their use of digital tools.
