RIDE is interested in the connection between digitalization, ethics and implications for research. We are also concerned with artificial intelligence and how we as individuals and society can ensure that the digital solutions that are established are ethically sound.

Navigating the digital landscape: How AI is transforming language learning

RIDE is interested in the design, development, and use of online environments. We investigate how our students use and navigate our MOOCs, and we use the empirical findings to redesign the technological solutions as well as the teaching content so that our educations will maintain the highest possible quality.

The introduction of digital technologies has challenged many professions. In this focus area we explore mechanisms and processes that allow professions to tackle challenges and opportunities posed to professional education and professional practice by digital development.
