About the project

We are creating a virtual environment for the school's facilities using VR technologies. The purpose is to showcase the different labs in detail and present existing machines and equipment. Also, users should be able to interact with some of those objects. The primary purpose of the interaction is to give a short overview of a particular piece of equipment and how it can be used. The leading showcase is the virtual environment of the following labs: VR lab, Robot lab, Makerspace, Fablab, a Podcast room, and the Cyber-physical lab.

"We want the users to be able to explore the IT Department, where they can quickly identify the different labs through signs”.
