Background
After completing his education at NTH in 1989 in the field of technical cybernetics, Bjørnar started his career as a development engineer at ame. His tasks involved the development of thin- and thick-film hybrid circuits and software. In 2000, he began working as a production manager at Noraturon in Horten, and in 2003, he took on the role of technical manager at Mectro. In 2009, he assumed the position of CEO at the same company. Bjørnar has always had a strong interest in mathematics and participated in the Norwegian national team in the mathematics Olympiad in 1985. He started as a assistant professor on June 1, 2023.
