About the Department
The Department of Computer Science and Communication is one of three departments at the Faculty of Computer Science, Engineering and Economics. The institute has approximately 1,000 students, 15 PhD candidates and 55 employees.
Studies
The department offers a one-year study in information technology, five bachelor's degrees in computer science, information systems, data engineering, digital media and design, and international communication and a master's degree in applied computer science.
Research
The department's research is wide-ranging and includes many areas within informatics and communication, with a focus on applications and interdisciplinary projects. We aim to participate in core research arenas both nationally and internationally, while our research will also contribute to regional development.
