Building articles

Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 June was dedicated to the semester academic writing workshop. This semester six scholars went to Ekenäs Hotel at Koster discussing and developing articles and manuscripts for publication.

Work in progress

  • Bjørn Gitle Hauge works on building an academic network linked to green energy technology and green business model innovation with Gunnar and Frode. Next step is an application for POS August 2019 establishing the platform for the network.  
  • Hong works on the article Technological Transformation - The effects of economic automation on employment and social impact together with Prof. Lutz Becker et al. from HOCHSCHULE FRESENIUS FÜR WIRTSCHAFT & MEDIEN GMBH. Next step is proof from co-authors and sending the manuscript to the journal (nivå 1) ultimo June 2019.
  • Matt and Gunnar work on the article Introducing Lean in public services together with Frode, Mona Jerndahl Fineide (faculty of health) and William Douglas Mitchell Martin (University of Central Lancashire, UK). Next step is proof reading and sending the manuscript to the journal PMM (nivå 1) ultimo June 2019. 
  • Frode works on the paper Tverrfaglige møteplasser og kunnskapsdeling og læring i møte mellom velferdsvitere og ingeniører - Hvilke erfaringer trekker studentene fram som vesentlige fra dette arbeidet? with Gunnar, Trude Tonholm (faculty of health) and Pål Ellingsen (faculty of health) for the ICERI conference in November. Next step is sending the abstract by 11 July.
  • June works on a publication on the connection between music and creativity developing the lecture on this topic on Litteraturhuset spring 2019. June also works on an IRG joint paper on the project based learning/self awareness/roles with empirical data from IPL projects. Next step is an initial draft on the two papers.
