Research activities in 2020

Even if last year was a very challenging one, we have published more than 20 research papers and 2 more research projects were granted. I would like to thank to all my partners, collaborators and colleagues, without which these results would not have been possible. Two new recently published papers in Sustainability Journal about renewable energy sources and microgrids, can be seen here: (https://www.mdpi.com/2071-1050/12/24/10365 & https://www.mdpi.com/2071-1050/13/1/410 ). In one of them we proposed a new Multi-Objective Optimization (MOO) based genetic algorithm (GA) model for a wind energy system, while in the second one a scheme to incorporate hybrid microgrid technology in the domestic distribution network has been proposed to effectively manage the distribution system and to efficiently utilize solar power and its storage systems.
