Studying world class production
From 15 to 22 September Dr Gunnar Andersson visited Tokyo, Nagoya, Toyota City and Kyoto meeting people at Nissan, Toyota, Tokai Shinei Electronics and TOTO, studying world class production in both large companies and SME's.
This time addressing the critiques on how TPS handles leaps in technologies and development, focusing on the chief engineer and Toyota development system (the little known sister of TPS).
The study is funded by Academic Scholarship 2018 and the faculty of engineering.
