The spectrophotometer can measure absorbance and transmittance in the range of 190 to 1100 nm. It has a single cell Peltier system for temperature control in the range of -10 to 100 °C. The instrument is fully computer controlled (INSIGHT Software), and the actual temperature within the sample can be logged by a temperature probe system.
