The research at the Department of Engineering covers different topics relevant for our education.
We are conducting research related to energy technology, both from the electrical engineering point of view and related to materials science. In addition, our research includes innovation studies, biomedical technology, atmosphere physics, and buildings and the environment.
We are working on topics such as power grids, micro grids, cements, geopolymer concrete, stimuli-responsive hydrogels, phase change materials, micro/nano-particles, human-machine interactions, gauge fields, urban flooding, transient light phenomena, risk analysis, spectrometry, entrepreneurship, LEAN, and innovation processes in clusters.
More details about our research can be found at the webisites of the different research groups.
