Duties and responsibilities

In my role as Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, Engineering and Economy I have the overall academic and administrative responsibility for all activities at the faculty.

  • Educational quaity and study programs
  • Quality of research, publishing and external research funding
  • Public relations, dissemination and marketing
  • Staff recruitment, organization and working environment

Background

I took on the role as Dean at the faculty in August 2021.  Prior to that, I was Dean at the Faculty of Computer Sciences from January 2016.  I am an associate professor at Department of Computer Science and Communication.  My PhD is from Department of Informatics at University of Oslo.  My research interests include user involvement, prototyping, design, and the implemenentation and use of new technology in the society and professions.
