Background
Jens-Patrick Langstrand received his master's degree in applied computer science from Østfold University College in 2016. He has been working as a researcher at the Institute for Energy Technology since. His research focus has been on applied Machine Learning for Human Factors research. He started his Doctorate Degree study in 2020 on sensing, control and testing in a warning system for slippery road conditions. The goal is to improve tyre-road friction estimation through physical modelling and sensor fusion. The project is part of the CRItical SPeed function and Automatic speed control function ahead of a dangerous road section (CRiSp) project.
