Academic interests
I am a doctoral student under the supervision of Stefano Nichele. My research areas are Artificial Life, Artificial Intelligence and Complex Systems. This includes among others the design of algorithms, the study of emergent behavior and the examination of systems as a substrate for computation.

Background
I obtained a bachelor in Mathematics in Finance and Industry and a master in Mathematics from the Technische Universität Braunschweig, Germany. I wrote my bachelor and master thesis at the Institute for Mathematical Optimization.
