Background
PhD from The Norwegian Center for Human Rights, at the Law Faculty at University of Oslo. I've been the chief editor of the law journal Kritisk juss for six years. I have a worked as a senior advisor for Save the Children Norway and as an advisor for the Galdu - Resource Centre for the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. In addition I have been a journalist for the Norwegian Broadcastin Corporation (NRK) and the newspaper Finnmark Dagblad.

- Leader of The Research Ethics Committee at The Sámi University of Applied Sciences
- I was a memeber of The National Committee for Research Ethics in the Social Sciences and the Humanities (NESH) for four years
- I have been the chief editor of the scientific journal Critical Law (Kritisk juss) for more than six years
- Member of International Editorial Advisory Board of the journal Human Rights Education Review
- I was a member of the Press Complaint Commission (PFU) for two years
- I am a member of the expert group of Business and Human Rights Coopers
- I have been a member of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'i community in Norway.
