Her field of research is mainly learning, educational drama, competency development, internationalization, and conflict management. She has used drama in education as a teacher, researcher and consultant involving students, academics, patients, nurses and other health care professionals in Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Norway and Sweden.

Bakgrunn
Professor Margret Lepp is registered nurse (RN), registered nurse teacher (RNT), holds a PhD, and is Professor at the Institute of Health and Care Sciences, at The Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and Østfold University College, Halden, Norway. She is also Adjunct Professor at Griffith University, Gold Coast Queensland, Australia, and Visiting Professor in Faculty of Medicine, Public Health & Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
Since 1998, she has published numerous original articles, books and chapters of books. She is one of the founder of the European Network of Nursing Academies (ENNA) in 2007. ENNA is comprising eight European countries. The aim of ENNA is: (1) to optimize the quality of nursing care for people in need of care and their families, (2) knowledge development and dissemination through international exchange, and (3) to enhance the quality of nursing education.
She was the director of PhD students´ affair in 2008-2010, and the Associate Editor of the Scandinavian Journal of Caring Sciences in 2008-2012, and she is the Scientific leader of the research group Learning and Leadership in Gothenburg, Sweden since 2013.
