Specialising in clinical studies on incontinenec, pelvic floor dysfunction and rehabilitation after peulmonary embolism (epidemiology and randomised controllet trials), and testing of new and existing measuring tools and methods. 

On-going research is related to patient reported outcomes used in incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction, exploration of biomarkers in pelvic floor dysfunction in collaboration with NTNU and Oxfod University (HUNT data merged with data from the Norwegian Birth Registry), and evaluations of questionnaires used in the national quality registry on anal incontinence at the University Hospital of North-Norway. In addition, member of the board and main mentor for one of three PhD Candidates in the project PeRehab; Rehabiliation after pulmonary embolism at Østfold Hospital Trust
