The European Day of Languages has been celebrated every year since 2001 – and this 26th of September the Language Festival is hosting a special Language Café in Vrimle (HiØ, Halden).
We invite both students and staff to practice your language skills over a cup of coffee or tea. This is your chance to use and practice your English, French, German, Spanish and Ukrainian – and hopefully meet new people in an informal setting.International and Norwegian students and staff are encouraged to participate.
The day will be divided into 5 timeslots – there will be a quiz and free baking goods if you place an order in the following languages:
10-11 a.m.: Français & Croissants
11-12 a.m.: Deutsch & Pretzels
12-13 p.m.: Español & Churros
13-14 p.m.: український & Honey cake
14-15 p.m.: English & Scones
