Coursework requirements are found in the course description
The status of programme descriptions and course descriptions is the same as for a regulations and is binding for students and academics. In principle it is not possible to change or add coursework requirements beyond what is stated in published programme decriptions and course descriptions.
Coursework requirements shall not be included in the final assessment. Together with the final assessment, coursework requirements ensure that the student has achieved the course’s learning outcomes. Therefore, coursework requirements must correspond with the learning outcomes.
Students shall have received a final assessment for all coursework requirements in a course at least two weeks before the date of the examination.
Students who, are granted a second attempt or postponement, shall also receive a final assessment no later than two weeks before the exam.
In the event of deviations from this main rule, for example due to illness or other urgent causes, the Section for Examinations must always be notified.

§ 1-4. (1) Definition
Coursework requirements are compulsory requirements that must be approved in accordance with the course description in order for the student to sit the examination and/or complete a period of practical training.
§ 6-1. Right to sit examinations
§ 6-1. (1) The university college’s students have the right to sit examinations in courses that they have been admitted to, provided any coursework requirements have been approved and they have paid the semester fee.
§ 6-1. (2) Students shall have received a final assessment for all coursework requirements in a course at least two weeks before the date of the examination.
