We had a quick chat with Matteo who recently arrived in a chilly Norway for his Erasmus exchange. Read here about his first impressions!

Fontenehuset is a voluntary working community for people who have or have had mental health challenges, and is based on basic human needs. This year the exchange student Laura came to Norway and did an internship at Fontenehuset. Read about her experiences.

Joachim enjoyed his time an exchange student in Australia. But he felt like there was something missing in the social life for students. The experience made him choose to be a part of the Buddy system at Østfold University College. 

Mouhcine is an Erasmus student from Lyon University, who has studied at Østfold University College since September. He is using his exchange year to write his Bachelor theses – and has found  research material in the different aspects of Norwegian society. One of the places he has studied, is Halden prison.

When Valeriya arrived in Norway a year ago, her initial plan was to stay for one semester. But the future had other things in store for Valeriya. Now she has grown so fond of Høgskolen i Østfold that she is enrolling as a master student.
