Content
The research project is both a practical and theoretical task. The candidate must carry out a fairly extensive project, showing scientific methods, cooperation, independence and academic judgement.
The following topics are central: problem statement, project planning, project management, quality management, scientific research and development methods, and referencing technique.

- Pilot project and midterm report, submitted in accordance with given guidelines and deadlines
- Meetings with supervisor/commissioner
- Creating and managing a website for the project according to specific guidelines
- Final presentation to external commissioner on request
Examination
Two elements are included in the final assessment, and these are weighted according to the descriptions below:
1. Research project report (75% of final grade) The written report of the entire bachelor project is evaluated. The assessment components emphasized are choice and use of scientific method any models or other depending on the individual project academic results the project process, including documented work effort and project documents as planning tools
2. Oral presentaion combined with other media presenting for the project (25% of total grade). The oral presentation (lecture) of about 15 minutes, as well as other media presentation, a website, a standing post or others, appointed and approved by the project coach/supervisor. If the students attend this course in the spring semester, they are required to have the oral presentation during the faculty's EXPO presentation event, normally in the middle of June.
An overall grade is added for the two components that are included in the assessment, and individual grouping can be done for the group members.The subject is assessed with letters A - F, where F is not passed.
A final overall grade is awarded for the research project. Individual grades may be awarded to group members. The grading used is the A - F system, where F means fail.
