It is recommended that the student has passed exams in the subject: IRE10521 Electrical Circuits, or equivalent.

Content
The following theme will be highlighted:

Diodes and diode circuits.

Amplifiers with bipolar transistors and field effect transistors.

Circuits with ideal operational amplifiers.

Filters.

Oscillators

Multivibrators

Frequency considerations.

Laplace calculus

Calculations and simulations.
Forms of teaching and learning
The teaching is conducted as lectures, theoretical exercises and practical assignments in the laboratory.
Workload
250-300 hours
Coursework requirements - conditions for taking the exam

Ca. 5 approved laboratory exercises

Minimum 5 approved assignments
Work requirements must be approved before the students can attend the exam.
Examination
Written exam, individual. Duration: 4 hours
Permitted aids: Calculator, with empty memory, which can not count symbolically or communicate wirelessly and brought personal formula collection (10 sheets).
Grade rules A to F are used
Examiners
One internal and one external examiner or two internal examiner.
Conditions for resit/rescheduled exams
Re-sit examination will be undertaken early the following semester.
Course evaluation
Continous evaluation of the teaching during the semester in which evaluation method is agreed upon between the teacher (-s) and students.
Written final evaluation of the course.
