Coursework requirements - conditions for taking the exam

None.

Examination

Individual term paper
The basis for assessment is an individual term paper (approx. 10 pages with 1 ½ line spacing, additional illustrations are welcome) with correct references and notes. Alternatively, another form of digital presentation can be chosen. More information about the term paper will be given in class.

The assessment takes into consideration: level of knowledge, information gathering, independence, and ability to formulate. The paper is to be submitted by a stipulated deadline, and individual tutorials are scheduled during the writing.

Marks are given on the A-F grading scale.

If the examiners judge it to be of inportance, the examinee may be invited to a conversation related to the paper. The talk will last about 30 minutes and may adjust the written assessment by one step up or down on the grading scale.

Literature

In agreement with the course instructor the students choose the literature they wish to have as their basis for the term paper.
