Prerequisites

Based on foundation courses in economics, international economics or business economics like as:
SFB10804 Microeconomics. SFB10902 Macroeconomics. SFB10306 Introduction to Business Economics.

Content

The content will depend on current economic events and discussions and the guest lecturers research field. It normally covers International economic integration, seen from a european perspective.

The content will depend on current economic problems and the guest lecturers research field. It normally covers international economic integration, seen from a European and international perspective.

Coursework requirements - conditions for taking the exam

Group presentation of a selected case has to be approved before signing up for written exam.

Examination

Term-paper (group work) 40% and written 3h exam (individual) 60%.
Aids allowed: Mother tongue - English - mother tongue dictionary. Grades: A - F.

Two partial marks will be given. These will be merged into one final mark. Each part of the portfolio assessment must be passed in order to pass the whole course. Each partial mark can be appealed. At a new exam it is only necessary to retake one of the parts.

Literature

Library and web resources. Textbook differs each year, depending on the course content and will be announced at the start of each academic year.
