- EU institutions and their interaction
- EU legislation
- The relationship between the EU and the member countries
- Norway and the EU
Forms of teaching and learning
Introductory lecture on the historical development of the EU: why and how the European construction was established.
Then follow seminars with group and individual tuition. The lecture and the seminars are taught in Norwegian; however, all documents on which the seminars are based are available in all the official EU languages. The Internet is used actively.
Practical training/internship
None.
Coursework requirements - conditions for taking the exam
The students take turns in being responsible for group instruction in their own group, i.e. preparing questions and presentations, leading discussions, etc. Each student has to be responsible for one group lesson.
Examination
A 4-hour written examination. Grading scale: A-F. No aids permitted.
