Previous knowledge of English communication and business subjects corresponding to the first year of the degree programme International Communication.

Aspects and theories dealt with in the course are:
- Organisational identity and corporate identity
- Corporate branding
- Image and reputation management
- Stakeholder relations
- Corporate social responsibility (CSR)
- Crisis communication
Forms of teaching and learning
The course is organised as two blocks. The first part of the semester consists of lectures with practices and plenum discussion. In the second part students complete a project/case study in groups (with two or three students in the group) with the course lecturer as facilitator.
The course is taught in English. The case study report is to be written in English.

None.
Coursework requirements - conditions for taking the exam
- One group assignment in the first part of the semester.
- Two scheduled group tutorials for the case study in the second part of the semester.
The coursework must be approved before submitting the report for assessment.
Examination
A group case study is carried out in the second part of the semester and is to be documented in a written report of 10-15 pages or approx. 5000 words, written in English. The case study takes as its starting point a concrete organisation or organisations and an issue that is related to the taught course. Assessment on the grading scale A-F. In the case of a fail or if students wish to improve their results, a new case study report must be submitted.
