Lecture Semester
Second semester (spring). The student's learning outcomes after completing the course
Knowledge based learning outcome
The student will acquire knowlege about general principles concerning mobile technology, mobile HCI, location and map based systems, privacy, context sensitive systems, and the mobile market. The student will also be familiar with central publishing channels for academic discourse related to these themes.
Skill based learning outcome

Content
The course has a theoretical foundation and a practical approach. The scientific content is taught through lectures and practical project work, including presentations and reviews of the students' own work. The content of the course will be closely linked to R&D work performed in the Faculty's interdisciplinary "Mobile Applications Group" (MAG).
Forms of teaching and learning
Lectures and student presentations/discussions.
Coursework requirements - conditions for taking the exam
The students shall work in groups (max 3 students per group) with a project that runs throughout the semester. The students must do presentations of their project as well as of relevant articles.
