How are falsified documents detected?

All students that accept their offer of admission are also required to bring their original documents to Norway. Documentation controlls are conducted where we will check the authenticity of documents used in the application process.

The applicant will be notified that falsified documents have been detected and that they will be reviewed by the Board of Appeals at Østfold University College. The police will also be notified. Applicants will have the opportunity to provide additional information in support of their case and will have the right to appeal. If the Board of Appeals finds that the applicant has provided falsified documentation they will be quarantined from the right to apply for admission to Østfold University College for one year from the date of the decision by the Board of Appeals.
