Halden Student Society are the students in Halden´s welfare organization. HSS is the link between the Studentsamskipnaden i Østfold (SiØ) and the students, and is responsible for the distribution of cultural resources. All students are automatically members of HSS.
The Student Society´s main task is to facilitate that the students at HiØ have one activity offer in addition to the studies. This is done through several different events, after the guidelines given by SiØ.
Student bar Aud6
Aud6 can be found in the canteen in Halden. The student bar is run by the Halden Student Society in collaboration with HiØ and SiØ. The student bar have seating areas and a stage with sound and lighting equipment. Theme parties, quizzes and concerts are arranged, among other things. The student bar is also rented out to all students at the Halden campus for arranging their own parties and events.
