Summary: This book tells the story of a girl who wakes up in the morning and there is nothing to look forward to. Darkness overcomes her, and things go from bad to worse; all troubles seem to come at once. She experiences wonderful things passing by. She just does not know who she I meant to be, and the day seems to end the way it began. However, back in her bedroom, she discovers a red leaf waiting for her which grows and blossoms into a beautiful red tree. The illustrations are beautiful and deeply expressive.
