Summary: This book tells the story of August Pullman, or Auggie for short, who has an extraordinary face. However, people don’t see that he is an ordinary boy who does ordinary things like riding a bike and playing ball. His mother says that he is a wonder, but most people just see how different he is. The message is that we are all wonders, and Auggie hopes that people can change the way they see.
