Summary: This book tells the story of Jamil, a poor weaver, and his cat, Sardul. Jamil daydreams of marrying the princess in the palace, and Sardul wants to help his master’s dream come true. The cat draws up a clever plan and fools the royal family to believe that Jamil is very rich. The princess marries Jamil, but soon discovers that something is very wrong. However, the princess loves Jamil and they settle down in his poor home. The princess becomes a good weaver and together, Jamil and the princess fulfil Jamil’s dream of a rich home. The book has colourful and attractive illustrations.
