Summary: This book tells the story of Doug who does not like hugs; he finds them too squeezy and too squashy. This does not mean that Doug does not like the people who want to hug him. He is just not a hugger: no hello hugs, no goodbye hugs, no game-winning home run hugs…. People should ASK before they start hugging. But, he likes high fives: elbow five, side five, granny five, jump five….
