Summary: This book tells the story of Douglas, a young brown bear, who wakes up one morning in strong need of a hug. He tries to find one, and on his search of the perfect bear hug, he hugs everyone he meets: a massive rock, a tree, an owl, sheep and a rabbit, but no one wants to hug him. However, the rabbit leads Douglas to the cave where his mother is. Finally, he snuggles “into the biggest, warmest arms he knew.”
