Summary: Baboo is different from all the other bees in his hive. Having pink stripes instead of yellow stripes makes him feel lonely; he is mocked by the other bees, and he always dances alone. Baboo longs to be just the same as the other bees. One day, Baboo meets another insect that stands out, a green ladybird. They make friends and dance together, and a great new friendship is formed. When the other insects see them dance together, they wish they could be special and different too. However, Baboo makes them see that they are all special in their own way. At the end, the authors have included some fun facts about bee life and how we can help these little creatures.
