Summary: This book tells the story of a tiger who, unexpectedly, turns up on the doorstep and is invited in to have tea with a little girl and her mother. Surprisingly, the tiger behaves nicely but he eats his way quietly through every scrap of food in the house. Having done so, he politely takes his leave. But, there is no food left in the house for the family’s supper………
