Office 365
- This is a self-service portal, well documented on Microsoft's support pages
- There is a limit on installation of 5 units, so you have to consider in advance where the products are downloaded.
- Access to email and data stored in Office365 will disappear the moment the study or employment relationship ends and the FEIDE login will be lost. Email and data are automatically deleted after 30 days and we CANNOT recover from a backup.
- Transferring data from Office 365 BEFORE closing is possible by creating an "Office365 PERSONAL" account even in good time and following this guide
Office 365 login
Enter username@hiof.no in the email field, press "TAB" to proceed to FEIDE login, where you log in as usual, with your usual username and password.
2-factor authentication for Microsoft 365
To get started with 2-factor authentication for Microsoft 365, you will need to have an authenticator app on your phone.

Office 365 contains these services
- Download Microsoft Office software for your own equipment. This includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote etc. for PC and Mac.
- Access to OneDrive with unlimited storage.
- You can get online access to Office software from any device through a web browser.
- Apps for mobile units
Remember the following:
- Office 365 OneDrive data is stored in the cloud. Read about Microsoft's security policy and privacy policy
- HiØ IT regulations apply to the use of the services when connecting through a user account assigned from the college.
- Storing data in OneDrive involves transporting and storing data outside of Norway. Therefore, personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act with regulations, health data, or safety graded data must NOT be stored in or shared through OneDrive.
