To change the language in Canvas, click on your profile at the top of the sidebar on the left hand side, this icon will have the text "Konto". Then click "Innstillinger".
On the page you will be sent to, there is a button on the right hand side with the text "Rediger innstillinger", click here.
Drop-down boxes will then appear in the center of the screen. Click the dropdown next to "Språk" and change it from "Systemstandard (norsk bokmål)" to your preferred language.
To save the changes, click "Oppdater innstillinger" at the bottom of the page.
You might need to close your browser and open it again for the changes to be applied.
Keep in mind that languages other than English are not officially supported by Canvas. There will be some inaccurate translations on certain pages.
