What is AI really, and why is it relevant for all disciplines?

Welcome to the first installment of the TDS-seminar! This seminar series is intended as an arena for interdisciplinary translation and exploration, and this first seminar is an introduction to artificial intelligence and its potential.

In this talk, Stefano Nichele will explain what AI is and, perhaps more importantly, what it is not. Furthermore, he’ll explain how different areas of AI research is of relevance for just about all researchers and disciplines represented at ØUC. Finally, he will discuss how his research on AI is inspired by and draws upon research on biological systems.

The talk begins 11.00, and a simple lunch is served at 12.00. We will order lunch on the basis of registration through the following link, so please sign up: Registration
