Research Schools

A research school is a network of institutions that collaborate on PhD education within the specific subject area. An objective of the graduate schools is to raise the quality and relevance of the doctoral education. 

Østfold University College is, or will become, a partner in three national research schools that together cover the breadth of PhD education, and participants in the doctoral programme can apply for admission to one of them. These research schools are:
