Berit Kjeldstad has been the leader of the board since August 1, 2021. She was externally appointed by the Ministry of Education and Research.
The University Board has:
- Three external members appointed by the Ministry of Education and Research.
- Four members who are employed in teaching and research positions.
- One member who is employed in a technical-administrative position.
- Two members who are students.
Rector Lars-Petter Jelsness-Jørgensen is the meeting secretary.
