Section for Educational Quality

The Section for Educational Quality is responsible for various administrative tasks related to curriculum development and the establishment of study programs, educational quality, and overall responsibility for facilitating and reporting study administrative data. Additionally, the section holds institutional responsibility for suitability assessments. Within the section, several matters are prepared for the college board. The section leader oversees the following tasks:

1. Ensuring high-quality and user-friendly services.
2. Continuously developing, digitizing, and improving processes, routines, and tools.
3. Acting as a sparring partner and advisor for leaders and staff.
4. Ensuring a solid knowledge and analytical foundation for the college’s leadership.
5. Taking an active role in the department’s leadership group.
6. Contributing to effective collaboration and cooperation, both internally and externally.

Background

Background and Competence

• Master’s degree in Organization and Leadership (Quality Work, LIOS, OLU, Master) – HIOF
• Bachelor of Arts in Economics / Adjunct within Economic Disciplines and Office Administration – SLHK (HIBU), now USN
• Basic course in Jurisprudence – UIO
• Basic course in Special Education – UIO/HIOF

• 14 years as a principal in upper secondary school (most recently at St. Olav Upper Secondary School in Sarpsborg).
• 4 years as a planning and development manager and assistant principal at Borg Upper Secondary School and Østfold Vocational College.
• 1 year as a course coordinator for Østfold County Municipality’s IT and training center.
• 16 years at Halden Upper Secondary School (teacher, team leader/head teacher, inspector).
